What is a TSE Cash Register?

A TSE cash register is a POS system equipped with a Technical Security Device (TSE).

In Germany, the Cash Security Ordinance (KassenSichV) requires that all electronic POS systems must be equipped with a TSE. This logs every transaction in a tamper-proof way and protects against manipulation.

For businesses, this means full legal compliance, transparent traceability, and protection in case of a tax audit.
